Welcome to the Trans Community Newbies Group! This is an area dedicated to those who are in their early stages of learning about the community. We urge everyone to ask questions and be respectful of the questions being asked. We just ask that once your misconceptions have been solved, you improve upon yourself and how you view the trans community. This group is for allies and trans people (including non-binary people) alike.

No harassment of any kind
Bullying, targeting, or attacking a member of this group is not allowed and will not be tolerated. Please respect each other's pronouns and identities.
Be respectful of others’ privacy
Being in this group depends on our trust of one another. This is especially important in this community as trans people are subjected to violence/harmful stereotypes due to general misinformation.
Include Pronouns in Your Display Name
We want to normalize the use of pronouns so that transphobes do not attack members of the community. We urge everyone have their pronouns in their display name to normalize this.
